Social networking - what's it all about? According to our poll, the British use MySpace, FaceBook and Bebo to share what they've been up to at the weekend (54%) and what they did on holiday (45%). It's also a great way to share cool things you've found online (45%), discuss your favourite films and music (41%) and what you watched on TV last night (27%).

It's not all innocent fun however - 17% use their sites to share views on who they don't like and why, gossip about friend's’ love lives (14 per cent), share embarrassing facts about work colleagues seven per cent.

FON says - We're not surprised. Despite the hype Social Networking is a great way to stay in touch with your mates even if it's a bit of idle gossip.
